Dana Hildebrand, great-granddaughter of J. W. Whitlock, has authored a five-volume series of booklets.  J. W. Whitlock was a prominent businessman, manufacturer and inventor from Rising Sun, Indiana who designed and built the famous “Hoosier Boy” boats and set a speed record on the Ohio River in 1924.
